The Water Resources Act 1991, states that to knowingly pollute controlled waters by the disposal of poisonous, noxious or polluting matter is an offence.

Compressed air condensate falls into this category and can render the polluter liable to fines or imprisonment.

Motivair have worked in partnership with the RAF over many years to ensure that waste from any oil lubricated compressor system is not discharged onto open ground, into a surface drain or down a foul sewer system.

In all we designed 12 new systems for the Brize Norton base which have ensured full compliance with the legislation.
